Directions

From the Boston Area:
Route 95 North to Route 128 north to Route 1A north (exit 20A).  Follow Route 1A to Ipswich, then to the intersection of Route 133.  See us on the right.

Directions from the New Hampshire Area:
Route 95 south to Exit 54.  Take Route 133 East to Ipswich (8 miles).  Stay on Route 133 through Ipswich center.  We're on the left about 1/2 mile beyond Ipswich Center.

The Whittier Motel is located in historic Ipswich, a small coastal town in the center of the North Shore.  Ipswich offers historic homes, a castle, one of the nicest beaches anywhere, and of course, Ipswich clams.  Within a few minutes are the wonders of historic Salem, Gloucester, Rockport and Newburyport.  Boston is 45 minutes by car or train.  Polo, the sport of kings, is still played here every Sunday from May through October.
